New Club house
As most of you are aware the Tennis Club is undergoing extensive improvements to both the clubhouse and the courts. The Committee would like to invite all members, family and friends to a ‘Progress Day’ on Saturday 4 July 2pm – 5pm to come down and see for yourselves how the ‘new look’ is coming along. There will be the opportunity to see what the club has to offer in the way of facilities, tennis sessions – both social and coaching and information on all upcoming social events. As a thank you to all of you for your support and patience there will be a free hog roast, free tea, coffee and squash but please feel free to ‘bring a bottle and a racquet’ as we will hopefully have our resident coach, John Butters, organising some tennis for interested members. There will be a Grand Opening of the clubhouse when it is finally completed on Saturday 12 September and more information will be emailed out to you nearer the time but we look forward to seeing you at the Progress Day!! To give us an idea of numbers for the Hog Roast could you please let me know if you would like to come down. More information will be posted outside the club but please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you Penny McQuade
The committee would like to continue to invite members to the club for an 8pm social tennis session every Thursday. Come down and enjoy a social hit with some regulars (including the Chairman)! The kitchen will be open so tea & coffee can be enjoyed. We would love to meet more members and see more of you on the courts.
Any questions, about any of the above then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Sam
